The Olympic Village

The Olympic Village

The 2012 Summer Olympics, commonly known as London 2012, was a major international multi-sport event celebrated in the tradition of the Olympic Games, as governed by the International Olympic Committee (IOC). It took place in London, United Kingdom, from 27 July to 12 August 2012.

Construction for the Games involved considerable redevelopment, with an emphasis on sustainability. The main focus was a new 200-hectare (490-acre) Olympic Park, constructed on a former industrial site at Stratford, East London.

Part of this development was the construction of an Olympic Village, with the intention of housing all of the Athletes and support teams during the games, then afterwards, this accommodation being released in the public domain to further assist in the re-generation of that part of the City.

Isolated Systems ltd in conjunction with Major Construction Companies working on the project and selected leading Pump Manufacturers manufactured and supplied many Pumping Skids,  Anti-Vibration Equipment, Acoustic Enclosures, Pipe work and Design Services all in our quest to help make these games the phenomenal success they went onto become.
