Anti Vibration Mounts

ISL 'Maxi' Anti-Vibration Mountings can be supplied with low frequency springs or neoprene elastomer. Used on Fans, Air Conditioning Units, Compressors and many other applications, correctly selected 'Maxi' Anti-Vibration Mountings will give the maximum isolation obtainable.

The unique design of 'Maxi' Spring Mounts incorporates a levelling system for accurate and easy installation. They are used by all leading fan and air handling manufacturers. Installed with inertia bases and moulded bellows they will provide a complete isolation package for pumps.

Expansion Joints

Isoflex expansion compensators are bespoke products.
They are manufactured to suit customers individual applications and design criteria. Depending on these details, the Isoflex solution may vary from a single fabric layer, through multi-layer products, to incoloy mesh and carbon fibre-reinforced constructions.

All low pressure gaseous applications are provided for; from clean, filtered air on perhaps a gas turbine inlet duct, to highly acidic flue gases on, say, the combustion exhaust of a coal-fired power station.

Ambient conditions from middle-eastern desert to arctic offshore are also catered for.

Flexible Connectors

'Maxi' flexible duct connectors are used to isolate vibration and to absorb expansion and misalignment in low temperature ductwork. They are manufactured as a bespoke product to suit customers individual requirements.

As with Isoflex expansion joints, and as part of ISL's total service package, all flexible connectors can be offered with associated steel parts. They can be mounted on steel frames of any specification although more frequently are supplied with simple metal backing flanges or clamping bands. Where there are abrasive particles in the gas stream, or where excessive buffeting is expected, a steel liner sleeve can be provided as protection for the connector.

Acoustic Products

ISL offer a comprehensive range of acoustic products and services. Through our technology agreement with Vibro-Acoustics of Toronto the company offers a full range of rectangular and circular silencers which, through rigorous testing, give accurate dynamic insertion losses, regenerated sound levels and pressure drops. In addition to this technology, our acoustic engineers can fine tune system requirements using our duct noise evaluation program.

To compliment these capabilities our engineering department offer to design, supply and install acoustic enclosures and louvres.
