As part of MCL’s ongoing system development programme, the company is pleased to announce the successful testing of Jettex.

Jettex is a flexible 3mm thick hypalon based compound bonded to a silicone coated glass cloth. Tested in accordance with the Health & Safety Executive Jet Fire Test Standard OTI 95 634, the material achieved the desired J30 rating and indeed went on to maintain its integrity for around 58 minutes. Witness certification by Lloyds Register of Shipping is available on request.

MCL are now able to offer their Jettex material as an enhancement to their existing hydrocarbon fire and blast resistant systems to provide protection solutions to the most arduous hazard scenarios.
